The Gulf Oil Rig Crisis of 2017 was a massive attack on Allied property in the Gulf of Mexico by Cuban Forces. After the Cuba Coup in April 2016, the regime's military leaders plotted an overambitious movement on US sovereignty. Cuban soldiers used freighters as a Trojan Horse tactic to move on the Oil Rigs with ease. From February 3 to 10, 2017, American and Mexican forces struggled to exile all of the Cuban forces throughout the Gulf. In the early evening of February 10, Cuban soldiers retreated for the homeland. The Crisis was the precurser to Operation X-Ray One.
